Ben taught me more in a year than I had learned in 4 previously. I moved away last year but the fundamentals that I learned from working with him have allowed me to improve much faster than I otherwise would have.

I've been taking guitar lessons with Ben for some time, and although I've moved to Nashville, I'm still doing video lessons with him. He's a great teacher -- very patient, customizes lessons to what you're looking for, and just an all-around good guy. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking to take lessons, but because he is so patient, I'm guessing he would be especially great with kids.

Decided at 65 I always wanted to try to play the guitar, and yes Ben Janzow can teach an old dog new tricks. Only 3 lessons under my belt but extremely happy with my progress.

Ben Janzow charges a very reasonable rate. He teaches my husband songs he can actually play and also works with my autistic son in what we call music therapy.
